Professional Statement
I am a licensed mental health counselor practicing in Milton, MA. My therapeutic approach is rooted in a combination of evidence-based theories, such as CBT and DBT techniques, combined with a focus around holistic perspectives, relational, and psychodynamic theories.
I received my bachelor's degree in psychology from the College of the Holy Cross and my master’s degree in mental health counseling from Boston College. I completed a clinical practicum at Bryant University’s Counseling Center, followed by working in a variety of different settings that helped to deepen my understanding of the mental health field and the individuals and families it serves. I have worked in intensive settings such as McLean-Franciscan’s Child and Adolescent inpatient unit and McLean-Franciscan’s community-based acute treatment program (CBAT). I have also worked in community-based settings—I served as a school-based clinician in the Boston Public School system, a counselor at Milton Academy, and a Mobile Crisis Clinician on the BEST team with the Department of Mental Health. Additionally, I am a certified provider in Collaborative and Proactive Solutions and often employ that approach in my work with families.

My experience is comprehensive. I have primarily worked with adolescents, college students, and young adults on anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, identity development, and relationship issues. However, I also have extensive experience working with families and parents through therapy, consultations, and coaching for more challenging behaviors. I am passionate about the work that I do and committed to helping my clients achieve their mental health goals.

Outside of work, I love spending quality time with my family, friends, and most importantly, my two rescue dogs, Tootsie and Mabel. I also enjoy exploring new restaurants, going to the movies, lazy beach days, and watching and playing sports.
